I saw it, & had chills! Fast Car is my favorite, of hers. She's from my era, & I've always appreciated Tracy Chapman. I loved Luke Combs' voice, & bless his heart, he was so humbled & honored to sing the song w/Tracy. Can u blame him?! Such love on that stage! Tracy, we miss you!! Please bring us more of your music!!
It was paramount!! True blue… So nice to truly smile watching an incredible performance! It actually restored my faith in humankind—Tracy Chapman and Luke so cool!! Tracy Chapman or missed immensely – yet I am very thankful for all the poetry/music -this digital dinosaur pulled out all her Tracy Chapman CDs this morning and has been listening to in my house and in the car!! I think it’s gonna be a good while before I get sick of these CDs!! Tracy, you looked beautiful as well. You had an aura around you that was just incredible – it looks like you were having a blast as well.!!!
My favorite act on the 2024 Grammy awards. Her voice is unmistakable and her songs timeless. Please do a tour so we can see you live. You look great and sound amazing.
The voice of an angel!!! Both of my parents are huge Tracy Chapman fans and raised us all with her playing, always. She is such gold, precious and beautiful! I really hope she gets 90% of the profits from this song’s recent success because she is the greatest.
Felt blessed to see and hear Tracy singing in 2024. Attended her concert in Oregon long ago. Her impeccable writing captures complex emotions and social justice issues. She and Luke showed such respect for each other on stage.
Thank you for posting this amazing performance. I first saw Tracy Chapman at the Colosseum in Los Angeles in the 80's and went to every L.A. show that she did. It was wonderful to see her get the recognition that she deserves! It was such a moving performance, brought tears to my eyes.
